the end of an era

Paul graduated from law school a few weeks ago, he had his best semester ever and graduated in the top 10% of his class (yay go Paul),  this was especially great because well we had a baby not long before finals and.....Paul was ambitious (insane) enough to take really hard tax classes this semester.  Now all he has to do is pass the Florida bar, which he is studying for right now.  In August we will be moving from Gainesville to Panama City (florida) because yay ! Paul got a job at a law firm there, we are all excited for the beaches.
We came to UF as newlyweds from California with a degree in econ (Paul) and history (me) and now we are leaving a nurse and a lawyer  with a baby!  I have to mention that compared to University of California, University of Florida has been so good to us although very far from our families we have loved it here,  we have loved the on campus housing, the cheap(er) tuition, the culture shock, and the southern kindness of so many great people we've met here.

now to survive the summer heat!

we had a baby

Her name is Sylvia, she was 5lbs 13 oz born on 3/15 at 6:09 pm (almost shift change), everything went well, I didn't get the perfect natural birth I had hoped  (little bit o' pitocin at the end), but it worked out for the best, and it was a vaginal delivery which is all I really wanted.  Life has changed a bunch since we were joined by our cute little elf,  I can't believe that it was only 2.5 months ago...can't even imagine life before that.  So here's some pictures.
